Marshmallow Car Part II

Bell: Be sure to thank Tyco when you see them. Anyways, it needs some calibrating as you can tell. I’m going to hook up the P-quency machine with it. Who wants to go on a ride?

The Fairy Penguinos stuck on Earth have had their innate magical abilities severely hampered because of Earth's magnetosphere and atmosphere. Which is precisely why Bell is blending human science (that they've discovered here and there) with their own psychic and magical abilities to try to get back in contact with the Mothership!

P is not excited about "going on a ride" with Bell and Luther...

Lil 'P gives in because Luther really wants to go. Gurry can't make it because Gurry has a nurser meeting later in the evening and has to brew hibiscus tea.
The trio peel the Marshmallow Car off of Gurry's hut. Afterwards, they all wash their hands so as not to get their feathers sticky. P took so much time that Bell yells at P because Bell doesn't want to drive at night. P shoots a quick, fiery stare back. That's plenty enough for Bell to back off!

And so, with a few taps to the paua pearl, the Marshmallow Car lifts up and slowly begins its test drive!

Bell's at the front seat, enjoying the drive. Lil 'P is a little skeptical about the Marshmallow Car, but they can't help their excitement rising, just a little bit! Luther is in awe, as natural of their curious self.

The paua pearl is firmly embedded into the framework of the Marshmallow Car dashboard. In order for the paua pearl to even work in this capacity, Tyco had to imbue it with magic from within their own energy reserves. The energy from Bell transmits to the pearl, melding with the imbued magic and natural properties of the pearl to create a link between Bell and the pearl. The Penguinos use rocks and minerals for energy and powering their civilization. As mentioned before, the Earth's atmosphere and magnetosphere puts a damper on their own innate magic and physic abilities (stemming from their energy). With the paua pearl that Tyco has discovered, it is able to amplify their abilities greatly! As seen in the effect on the Marshmallow Car. Much less time now needs to be spent discovering ways to increase magical and psychic output now.
To turn it on, Bell taps it and energy from Bell's flipper transfers over to the pearl. Bell programmed a holographic console (control panel), which pops up as soon as the paua pearl is tapped a second time. The console cannot appear unless there is energy being transmitted. The console has several options, and they are all very simple. Bell believes in simplifying, not complicating. And with controlling a car, the simple, the better. Less troubles. There are two circles, a moon and a star.

Lil ‘P: This isn’t too bad, Bell! When do you think you’ll figure out how to get more lift to get into space?

Bell presses on the circle located at the front of the pearl to turn on the protective sphere. Bell explains that this is the first step in getting to space - need to have your air covered! This sort of protective sphere, which the Penguinos utilize in all their machinery that must be sent through planetary and galaxian atmospheres, takes care of the elements, gravity, waves, and temperature changes.
In order for them to actually lift this car into space, or any type of object, they'll need to power their minerals to maximum energy output. Which Lil 'P realizes: energy equal to powering an entire Mothership! That's how much energy they really need to get out of Earth and it's not going to be easy.

Bell: This planet requires us to triple the energy for even small machines like this just because of the darn atmosphere around this planet! I can’t wait to get off this planet, humph!

Bell's anger, frustration and sadness combine into a flurry of intense emotions leading Bell to losing control of the Marshmallow car! Despite this, the puau pearl truly shines here - Bell and the pearl have created such a strong energy transfer that the energy has gone back to Bell, amplifying Bell's psychic abilities - the only crinkle being that Bell is too emotional to keep control, causing discordance! Lil 'P and Bell are in a panic. If they don't get the car under control, they'll end up hurling towards the ocean!

Bell: But I can’t figure how to make it slower!

Luther meanwhile has disengaged, holding tight to themselves. Luther is saving their energy by devising a plan...
Luther pats the back of Bell’s seat and says, “Let’s all calm down and put our minds together!”

Lil ‘P: Our telepathy is weak on Earth, but we can try!

They all close their eyes and then start feeling waves with one another. After some moments, the Marshmallow Car slows down. The puaupuau pearl glows a different color – the same color as the waves they had in their telepathy – a purple color.
